Our Classic Moc boot is modeled after our very first work boot style. 1907 is a 6-Inch Moc Toe Boot, constructed Copper Rough & Tough leather, which is hand cut from our very own tannery. Featuring crepe tread and rubber outsole, it’s a beautiful work boot. 1907 is triple stitched with a Norwegian Welt for uncompromising quality and undeniable appeal. With leather laces, which add style and durability, this boot is an absolute stunner in person. For as long as we can remember, these have been our most popular Heritage boots.
The Red Wing Classic Moc purpose built by Red Wing’s first cobblers to withstand the unending assault from the elements of the north while being able to handle the rigors of factory life. The beautiful and iconic “crepe” sole is lightweight and minimal, which reduces the amount of buildup from the dirt and mud that come with a hard day’s work. However, they don’t skimp in the area of comfort or grip – they provide much-needed purchase on any surface and keep your feet feeling great all day. Our Classic Moc boots are named for their iconic toe design. “Moc” is shorthand for moccasin, which is the Algonquin Indian word for shoe. Boot 1907 borrowed the Algonquin toebox design, and a classic was born. This u-shaped look, with plenty of toe room, combined with the upper crepe sole, would become the most popular boot in the Red Wing line.
Today, the Red Wing Classic Moc’s iconic style rings true.
